Subject to the availability of the annually adjusted grant ceiling, loan ceiling and life-time loan limits, as appropriate, which will normally be determined in or before July each year.
The subsidy will be disbursed either in one lump sum or by two instalments, depending on whether the institution can provide the course details (e.g. venue for the study programme, term days) of and the allocation of hostels to the applicants before the start of the academic year.
