Overview

The Continuing Education Fund (CEF) subsidises adults aged 18 or above to pursue continuing education and training. Eligible applicants may submit unlimited number of claims for reimbursement of fees up to a maximum sum of HK$25,000 within one year upon successful completion of CEF reimbursable courses.

Check the Remaining Balance of CEF Account

  • Users may access our one-stop e-service platform “eWFSFAA” to view the application status of all their student financial assistance applications under the SFO and check the remaining balance of CEF account.

  • For applicants who have opened a Continuing Education Fund (CEF) accounts or submitted application for fee reimbursement, they may check their CEF account balance by using the Chabot “S. Buddy” (www.wfsfaa.gov.hk/en/contact/enquiry.htm). The steps are as follows –
    - Click “click me” to start the Chatbot;
    - Choose “Continuing Education Fund (CEF)”;
    - Click “CEF Account Balance”;
    - Enter your personal particulars to view the CEF account balance.
