The Legislative Council approved the Appropriation Bill 2024 on 8 May 2024 for implementing the measures as announced in the 2024-25 Budget to provide a one-off extra allowance to the households of Working Family Allowance.  Eligible households will receive the extra allowance starting from 4 June 2024.  No separate application is required.  Please click here to learn more.
