a secondary day school approved by the Education Bureau (i.e. Senior Secondary 1 / Secondary 4 to Senior Secondary 3 / Secondary 6); or

certain courses of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and Youth College under the auspice of the Vocational Training Council. 

Full-time students who are in financial need and are studying at the above schools / colleges may apply.

The value award depends on the amount of funds available and the number of eligible applicants in the year of application.

The Grantham Maintenance Grants are now open for application.  The Application Form, Guidance Notes and Annexes can be obtained from the Secretariat of the Grantham Scholarships Fund Committee (Address: 34/F., Wu Chung House, 213 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong) or downloaded from the Student Finance Office's website.  Completed forms should be returned through the Head of School / Department to the Secretariat of the Committee on or before 30 September 2024 (Monday) 5:00 pm.

The maintenance grants will be paid after the Grantham Scholarships Fund Committee has decided on the allocation of the grants.  This will be remitted by direct transfer of the approved maintenance grants to school's account through the bank (Notification and Bank Account Information Form) and the schools are then requested to disburse the grants to the successful candidates.
