Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) Grade 5 Music Theory of the ABRSM, Rockschool, Trinity or equivalent; OR (2) Have taken supplementary course provided by Baron School of Music; OR (3) Passed an Audition conducted by the Course Provider

(1) Module 1 - Vocal Techniques I (14 contact hours + 1 assessment hour)
(a) Basic concepts of voice controls
(b ) Song Analysis
(c) Advanced Voice Controls and Own Sound & Own Style on Singing

(2) Module 2 - Vocal Techniques II (14 contact hours + 1 assessment hour)
(a) Advanced Voice Controls and Own Sound & Own Style on Singing
(b ) Voice Sound Quality
(c) Use of Microphone and On Stage Microphone Technique
(d) Advanced Song Analysis & Singing Analysis
(e) Different Genre

(3) Module 3 - Vocal Techniques and Performing Vocalist I (20.5 contact hours + 2 assessment hours)
(a) Advanced Voice Controls and Own Sound & Own Style on Singing
(b) Advanced Song Analysis & Singing Analysis
(c) Use of Microphone and On Stage Microphone Technique
(d) Different Genre
(e) Group Performance, Duet, and Solo Performance
(f) Showmanship
(g) Singing in Studio

(4) Module 4 - Vocal Techniques and Performing Vocalist II (13 contact hours + 2 assessment hours)
(a) Group performance, Duet, and Solo Performance
(b) Singing in Studio

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Instructor appointment criteria: (1) Diploma/Bachelor of Arts or equivalent music diploma; OR (2) At least awarded one prize in Hong Kong pop music industry, such as annual pop music awarding ceremonies organized by CR, TVB, RTHK, Metro, Cash, etc; OR (3) 4 Years of music industry experience; AND 1 Year of experience in teaching similar courses.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings:
(1) Module 1:
(i) In-class performance - 80%
(ii) Written test - 20%

(2) Module 2:
(i) In-class performance - 80%
(ii) Written test - 20%

(3) Module 3:
(i) In-class performance: Different Genre: Ballad - 40%
(ii) In-class performance: Different Genre: Groovy/Upbeat Songs - 40%
(iii) Group performance: Group session - 20%

(4) Module 4:
(i) Solo performance - 50%
(ii) In-class performance: Duet - 30%
(iii) In-class performance: Singing in Studio - 20%

(B) Completion Requirements:
(1) Students would need to get an overall pass grade of 50% for the course graduation.
(2) The minimum attendance requirement for each Programme is 70% of the total contact hours.

(C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements:
(1) Students would need to get an overall pass grade of 50% for the course graduation.
(2) The minimum attendance requirement for each Programme is 70% of the total contact hours.
