Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
Applicants should hold an Advanced Diploma, a Higher Diploma or an Associate Degree awarded by a recognized institution (e.g., HKU SPACE, School of Continuing and Professional Studies, The School of Continuing Education of Hong Kong Baptist University and others). Applicants with other equivalent qualifications (i.e., Certificate from CDN, AWS, Microsoft and others) will be considered on individual merit.

(I) Web Scraping and Data Analytics (3 hours) (1) Overview of web analytics, web scrapping and data analytics (1 hour) (2) Introduction to web scrapping tools (1 hour) (3) Applications of web scraping and data analytics with sample cases (1 hour) (II) Business Analytics and Data Wrangling (9 hours) (1) Principles of business analytics and data wrangling (1 hour) (2) Introduction to data cleansing using computation tools (2 hour) (3) Transformation of raw data to business information with sample cases (6 hours) (III) Applications of Business Analytics and Web Scraping (18 hours) (1) Descriptive analytics and data visualization using Microsoft Power BI (3 hours) (2) Predictive analytics and data modeling (3 hours) (3) Prescriptive analytics and business decision optimization (3 hours) (4) Managerial dashboard and storytelling (3 hours) (5) Practical applications of business analytics and web scraping for core business functions (6 hours)

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Holder of an academic qualification at a Master's degree in Business / Accounting / Finance / Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Engineering / Computer Science / IT and with 2 years' teaching / working experience in the Financial Services / Banking / Finance / Investment / Insurance fields
