Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
Applicants shall:(a) hold a “Diploma in Japanese” awarded within the HKU system through HKU SPACE within a period not longer than 2 years before the start of the programme; or(b) pass the entrance examination of “Advanced Diploma in Japanese” offered by HKU SPACE.[Applicants with other qualifications will be considered on individual merit.]

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) advanced vocabularies and expressions related to abstract/cultural/social topics (20 hrs) (2) conversation related to complex and sensitive issues (20 hrs) (3) advanced Japanese grammar (30 hrs) (4) effective and accurate writing (30 hrs) (5) techniques in presentation, debate and answering hostile questions (20 hrs)

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
(1) Holder of an academic qualification at bachelor’s degree or above, and/or in possession of relevant professional qualification, and(2) with 3 years of working/teaching experience in the field of Japanese and/or language studies.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings:(1) Continuous Assessments (15%),(2) Mid-term Test (25%),(3) Oral Examination (10%),(4) Final Examination (50%) (B) Completion Requirements and CEF Reimbursement Requirements:(1) Overall Passing Mark: 50% or above(2) Final Examination: 50% or above(3) Attendance Requirements: at least 70%
