Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) 18 years old or above, and (2) Fluent in Cantonese; and (3) Completion of a certificate training programme for Care-related Support Worker (CRSW) or at least 2-year patient care working experience in hospitals; and (4) (i) Completion of Secondary 5 with Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); or (ii) Completion of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) with Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language; or (iii) Completion of Secondary 5 or HKDSE and pass an English test.

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
(1) Anaesthesiologist (a) Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists (2) Registered Nurse (a) A relevant bachelor degree or above in health care or relevant studies; and (b) A minimum of 5 years relevant post-registration experience in health care with experience in Operating Theatre.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Written Test (25%) (2) Formative Assessment (OSCA) (25%) (3) Summative Assessment (OSCA) (25%) (4) Clinical Practicum Assessment (25%) (B) Completion and CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) The minimum attendance requirement: (i) 90% for lecture and (ii) 100% for clinical practicum and OSCA; (2) Passing the written test (Passing mark: 80%), formative assessment (OSCA) (Passing mark: 70% and students are required to pass all the critical items), summative assessment (OSCA) (Passing mark: 70% and students are required to pass all the critical items) and clinical practicum assessment (Passing mark: 100%); and (3) Obtain the Basic Life Support Certificate by American Heart Association
