Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
Possess a bachelor's degree with first or second class honours from a recognized local or overseas university. Preference will be given to applicants who have attained undergraduate training in a social science discipline. The minimum GPA for a non-honours degree should be 3.0 out of 4.0. [In general, social science disciplines include but not limited to: anthropology, counselling, economics, European studies, Global and China studies, geography, government and public administration, international relations, journalism and communication, policy studies, political science, psychology, and sociology.]

1. Introduction to concept of Interprofessional Collaboration (3 hrs) 2. Philosophical and theoretical foundations of interprofessional collaboration (3 hrs) 3. Core competencies for interprofessional collaborative practice (3 hrs) 4. Interdisciplinary practice in health care (3 hrs) 5. Interdisciplinary approach working with children (3 hrs) 6. Interdisciplinary collaboration in working with people with disabilities (3 hrs) 7. Building an interdisciplinary team and leadership (3 hrs) 8. Virtual teaming and collaboration technology (3 hrs) 9. Challenges and opportunities of interprofessional collaboration (3 hrs) 10. Case Study: Interdisciplinary collaboration in service settings (3 hrs) 11. Trend and issues in interprofessional practice (3 hrs) 12. Presentation & Case Demonstration (6 hrs) 13. Consultation with Instructor (1 hr)

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
Doctoral degree, relevant professional qualification(s) (e.g., Registered Social Worker), and 3 years of related teaching experiences in the higher education sector

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Participation (10%), (2) Term Paper (40%), (3) Group presentation on interprofessional case study (25%), (4) Reflection paper (25%) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Students must attain at least Grade C+, which is equivalent to at least 50% of the overall marks (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Students must attain at least Grade C+, which is equivalent to at least 50% of the overall marks (2) The applicant has to meet at least 70% attendance in the course.
