Entry Requirements / 入學要求:
(1) Aged 18 or above; and (2) Completion of F.3 and one year work experience

Course Outline / 課程大綱:
(1) 理論課：鏈鋸構造及地面安全操作知識 (4小時) (2) 實務課:地面操作鏈鋸 (12小時) (3) 課程評核 (1.5小時)

Instructors' Qualifications / 導師資歷:
(I) 導師聘用條件: (1) (a) Bachelor Degree or equivalent to the Standard of Level 5 in the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework in arboriculture or a related filed such as biology, botany, forestry, horticulture, environmental science, landscape, architecture, landscape management and urban forestry from a Hong Kong university or equivalent; or (b) Certified Arborist, or Certificate Arborist Utility Specialist, or Certificate Arborist Municipal Specialist; or (c) Board Certificated Master Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture; or (d) Technician Member or Professional Member or follow of Arboricultural Association of the UK; or (e) European Tree Worker or European Tree Technician of the European Arboricultural Council; or (f) Registered Qualified Arborist, or Registered Practicing Arborist, or Registered Consulting Arborist; or (g) Registered Consulting & Practicing Arborist of Arboriculture Australia; or (h) Accredited Arboricultural Practitioner of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects; or equivalents; AND (2) Passed the “Vocational Assessment in Safety Use and Maintenance of Chainsaw Operation and Basic Tree; Pruning for Arboriculture Industry organised by Vocational Training Council (VTC); or Possess equivalent qualification from a recognised local or overseas training institute or professional body; AND (3) With continuous training experience in the delivery of the theory lectures, seminars, talks or workshops in arboriculture or related discipline, such as biology, botany, forestry, horticulture, environmental science, landscape architecture, landscape management and urban forestry, in the past 5 years; and With continuous training experience in the delivery of practical training in arboriculture or related discipline, such as such as biology, botany, forestry, horticulture, environmental science, landscape architecture, landscape management and urban forestry, in the past 5 years (II) 助理導師聘用條件: (1) (a) Certificate / diploma/high diploma or equivalent to the Standards of Level 3 or above in the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework in arboriculture, tree management, tree risk management, landscape management or from a Hong Kong training institute or equivalent; or (b) Certified Arborist, or Certificate Arborist Utility Specialist, or Certificate Arborist Municipal Specialist; or Board Certificated Master Arborist of the International Society of Arboriculture; or (c) Technician Member, or Professional Member or follow of Arboricultural Association of the UK; or (d) European Tree Worker or European Tree Technician of the European Arboricultural Council; or (e) Registered Qualified Arborist, or Registered Practicing Arborist, or Registered Consulting Arborist; or (f) Registered Consulting & Practicing Arborist of Arboriculture Australia; or (g) accredited Arboricultural Practitioner of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects; or equivalents; AND (2) Passed the “Vocational Assessment in Safety Use and Maintenance of Chainsaw Operation and Basic Tree Pruning for Arboriculture Industry"" organised by Vocational Training Council (VTC) or Possess equivalent qualification from a recognised local or overseas training institute or professional body; AND (3) With continuous training experience in the delivery of practical training in arboriculture to tree management in the past 3 years.

Assessment / 課程評核要求:
(A) 課程評核方式及比重： (1) 筆試（最終評核）: 30% (2) 實務評核（最終評核）: 70% (B) 課程修畢要求： (1) 於所有評核項目各取得70%或以上合格成績 (C) 可獲發還款項要求： (1) 於所有評核項目各取得70%或以上合格成績 (2) 出席率達80%或以上
