Tertiary Student Finance Scheme - Publicly-funded Programmes (TSFS) and Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Full-time Tertiary Students (NLSFT) for the 2024/25 academic year are now open for application.

With effect from the 2024/25 academic year, e-payment of administrative fee via credit card and Faster Payment System is available for applicants of the three non-means-tested loan schemes.

The administrative fee chargeable for each application and each loan account in every academic year under the three non-means-tested loan schemes will be adjusted to HK$216 with effect from the 2024/25 academic year.

The Finance Committee of the Legislative Council has approved to further extend the current interest-free deferral of student loan repayment for one year from 1 April 2024 until 31 March 2025. Please click here to learn more.

Adjustment of Non-means-tested Loan Schemes(NLS) Interest Rate

The interest rate of the Non-means-tested Loan Schemes has been adjusted from 2.295% to 2.42% per annum with effect from 1 August 2023.
